Hi guys! I've had trouble sleeping lately and I couldn't seem to find anything relaxing for me that doesn't cost much. I've tried listening to music, meditating, but my mind can't get off my anxieties. Any advice would help!

When I have time or when I am feeling overwhelmed or stressed I drive up to the nearby mountain in the city I live in. I set out a little blanket and I read or journal, it's quite relaxing.
i think also, something about doing art is really relaxing. cause all ur focus is completely contained in trying to 'see' the thing you're drawing/painting... and then trying to put it on paper. copying the masters like van gough have totally changed my perspective, literally. like i never saw color, shade, light, details, the curvature of an iris leaf... all of it in ways i never did before. art is totally consuming and somehow everything else u can just let go bc ur so absorbed in it :D
Things to consider outside of meditation: Exercise during the day, low dose melatonin & magnesium glycinate & chamomile tea an hour before bed, podcasts, pink/white noise––and do not check the time, ever. Not until you're sure it's the morning.
My best advice is to stop looking at the blue light coming from your phone, computer etc, about 30mins-1hr before and after sleep. Also cut your caffeine intake to zero as an experiment (dont forget 'hidden' sources like chocolate, pepsi etc).
ASMR!!!!!!! hahahahahah
have u tried meditating thru ur body? there's a technique where you bring all your awareness to a certain part of your body... say like, your toes, and when you can feel your toes, you move your awareness upwards to your ankles, then calves slowly till you move thru your body. some disciplines even tell each body part to go to sleep, but i find trying to just concentrate on something physical gets your mind off of other stuff, and as you concentrate on your body somehow u just kinda fall asleep lol. v relaxing...
