I am curious if you do, do you use any tools? This can be personal or business related.

I use a Google spreadsheet. It helps me to be more cognizant of where my finances are being dispersed in a organized visual format. It highlights the areas that I could cut back on... usually food. It also works very well when I need to save for upcoming travel expenses and future investment projects. I use it to track personal and business.

Ohhhh do you by chance automate it? I feel like Google spreadsheets can be super manual but if if there's a good dynamic sheet I think I'd use it more!

It's not automated. I know there are apps out there that will connect to your financial accounts. I'm just not a fan of connecting my financial accounts to an app. Privacy and security reasons.
I am personally into details and data entry. Manually entering the details makes sense for me. I use the Google app on my phone, entering transactions is easy on the go.

I'm a big budgeter when I travel, and recently i've been loving Notion's capabilities. But prior to Notion, a simple Google sheet will do, tagging people involved through their emails for free - GSheet/Excel was my go-to tool for the longest time just because it can do the math just by pressing buttons HAHA but Notion's interface is friendlier and easier to manage.

I agree, I like notion for my personal expenses. But love the idea to use google sheets for easily sharing and tagging others.
